Summer Sun - Read for Fun!

Looking to enjoy a sunny summer day? 

Check these out for hot summer reads.

They have never ending lists of good book titles. Start with “Newberry Award Books” and “Coretta Scott King Award Books”.

 

2.  The Texas Library Association

- 2 X 2 is pre-school through second grade.

- Texas Blue Bonnet  is third through sixth grade.

- Texas Lone Star is sixth through eighth grade.

- Tayshas is high school.

 

3.  Mrs. Iakovakis from the Richardson Public Library

Mrs. Iakovakis visited our classrooms to talk about good books

to read over the summer. The titles she suggested are on the next 3 pages.

 

 

After you read a book, why not give us your opinion of it? Print off and fill in the book review form. Bring it to the library when school starts, so others know what you think!
